One of the biggest complaints that utilities have is that customers don’t know about their programs. Staples & Associates takes an aggressive outreach and education approach to not only inform customers of available utility programs but to connect them to the appropriate program that fits their individual needs. In this way we strive to develop customers that take energy efficiency seriously and make improvements that deliver immediate energy savings to the utility and dollar savings to the customer.
Many times traditional marketing firms will run some ads, send out some press releases, design a nice website and then wait for the customers to come…but there is something missing. Staples & Associates assists utilities by taking a “boots on the ground” approach to marketing and outreach in order to fill that gap. While we are adept at educating consumers on the importance of energy efficiency we believe that every consumer needs to feel as if they have a one-on-one experience where they are provided clear guidance on the energy savings steps they need to take.
Accomplishing this one-on-one experience is the challenge. We take a simple step-by-step approach in order to overcome this challenge. While every situation is unique, our process helps customers identify the energy efficiency actions they are willing to take and gives them the steps and tools they need. This strategy is based on our extensive experience with utilities and municipalities. We listened to the challenges they were facing and have created an approach that addresses their concerns and moves customers from awareness to action.
